What we offer
Our puppy classes are designed to address the most common challenges new puppy owners face, ensuring your puppy grows into a well-behaved and happy companion. We focus on positive reinforcement techniques to create a fun and effective learning environment.
Socialisation
Proper socialisation is key to a well-adjusted dog. We provide a safe and controlled environment for your puppy to interact with others, building confidence and reducing anxiety.
Loose Lead Walking
Say goodbye to pulling! We'll teach you the techniques to achieve a relaxed and enjoyable walk with your puppy, making walks a pleasure for both of you.
Obedience
Establish a strong foundation of obedience commands, including sit, stay, down, focus and come. These commands are essential for effective communication and forming a strong bond with your furry friend.
Force-free training
At Louis Fieldhouse Dog Training, we believe in reward-based and force-free training methods. We utilise positive reinforcement techniques to build a strong bond with your puppy and encourage desired behaviours.
Experienced trainer
With years of experience working with rescue dogs and puppies at Dogs Trust and the RSPCA, Louis Fieldhouse brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every class. You can be confident your puppy is in good hands.
Important information
Our puppy classes run for 6 weeks, with each session lasting 1 hour. Puppies should be under 20 weeks old. All puppies must be fully vaccinated, and be up together with their flea and worm treatments.
We require all puppies to be fitted with either a flat collar or a harness with a fixed length lead. Please note we do not allow retractable leads, slip leads, head collars, shock collars, choke chains or prong collars. Alternative gear will be provided if needed.
